Very Artificial Poetry #6
Most days of my project #500daysofAI I post articles that attempts to grapple with researchers, research articles, whitepapers and companies within the field of artificial intelligence. However I decided to make an effort to write poetry once in a while. This is that ‘once in a while’ day, and so I hope you enjoy this poem or that this short text makes you stop and think for a second. I would of course be happy to receive any sort of feedback if you feel inclined to give. Here we go.
As I think of where to work
I find myself questioning
Whether I am a jerk
For wanting to work in AI
What value can I provide
To stem the tide or tidings
A data flow in the wrong ways
Days tagged with emojis
I saw her mood calendar
And I thought about my mood
Good people tracking themselves
To gain insight and give insight
Storing personal history
Footprints in the digital sand
Ineligibility
Crawling with strokes through
The world wide data ocean
Almost
I am not sure what I can identify
Or even identify with anymore
What clothes or floor and which door
Tracking shapes as heat
Mapping changes we may wait for
An exquisite picture from a satellite
Tracking the stars saying goodnight
A white lake covered with ice
On a train passing
Screeching sounds of metal tracks
This is #500daysofAI and you are reading article 256. I am writing one new article about or related to artificial intelligence every day for 500 days. My current focus for 100 days 200–300 is national and international strategies for artificial intelligence.
