Very Artificial Poetry #12

Poetry about artificial intelligence

She sang a song I could interpret through Google Translate.

I thought about the past — so late, time. Tate.

Modern expressions, just attempting to not be late.

Timing our conversations on my digital alarm clock.

I used to listen to rock. Now I don’t listen to much music at all.

Tall Danish people standing in line for late night food.

Copenhagen has a clock in the central station.

I feel stationary in my pocket. A pen, I should be more stationary.

Quarantined, I will be, when I return to the ordinary.

My life in Norway. Bicycles pass me by as I colour in the moment.

A Danish flag stretching out into the city.

Natural language processing is just human language processing.

I am silent. My phone is buzzing. An interruption in the autumn night.

Sleep tight Copenhagen, and dream of masks without faces.

Faces without masks. The metro is arriving.

Heaving, alive, breathing into cotton.

Gone and returning.

Yearning.

Learning. Falling asleep.

Most days of my project #500daysofAI I post articles that attempts to grapple with researchers, research articles, whitepapers and companies within the field of artificial intelligence. However I decided to make an effort to write poetry once in a while. This is that ‘once in a while’ day, and so I hope you enjoy this poem or that this short text makes you stop and think for a second. I would of course be happy to receive any sort of feedback if you feel inclined to give. Here we go.

This is #500daysofAI and you are reading article 461. I am writing one new article about or related to artificial intelligence every day for 500 days.
